I like your new design a lot. Monospace-wise, I did something similar on my GitHub pages “companion site” cssence.github.io, where I use the ch unit to indent/align opening quotes and the tables.
And ofc, your footer made me laugh—just one more month!

Yeh CH units are super useful with mono fonts. Looks great!
