Really looking forward to this year’s #CSSNakedDay. In 2024 my site participated for the first time, and I did my homework, so here’s hoping that on April 9 things just work unsupervised. 🤞
How does your site look without style sheets? There’s still time to prepare.

Oooh thanks for the reminder!

Today is #CSSNakedDay 🎉
On participating sites you’ll see how they are structured, and thus what comes first: Skip links, a banner, the navigation, or will you see the actual content with its heading level one right away? Inspired by @vasilis@social.vasilis.nl’s »Exclusive Design«, that last one is what my site has been doing for five years now. Not going back.

Also, Happy Birthday to me.

Aghhh it’s #CSSNakedDay and I completely forgot to update my site! I’ll have to try to get this train’s wifi working.
In the meantime, here’s last years announcement post, which keeps its nudity year-round:

Hey there fellow CSS Joy webring member, FWIW, your site looks rad with and without styles.
I like the .stagger
on the landing page, the choice of URL paths, and obviously (on e.g. blog pages) the minimal part before the <h1>
.

I appreciate your appreciation @CSSence@mas.to! I’m well overdue to explore the ring again (it’s doubled in size since my last expedition) and your site is top of the list!
